Biography
Pamela's current work focuses on her passion for the coastal regions of the Northeastern United States. Materials include the palette knife, oil paint, and square format cradled birch panels. Inspiration comes from the rhythm and wild beauty of the dunes, marshes, ocean and beaches of the Jersey Shore, Cape Ann, Cape Cod and the coast of Maine.
Pamela Parsons is a primarily self taught painter working in oils, acrylics and watercolor in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Pamela's past work includes a large body of work in the style of the impressionists. Over time, Pamela's work evolved into the abstract, exploring the concepts of balance and rhythm in line, shape, color, relationships and connections. Historical influences include the Pennsylvania Impressionists, and the abstract expressionist action painters of the New York School.
Collections: Pamela's work is included in patron collections throughout the United States.
